The Factor V Leiden (FVL) Reagents* detect a single nucleotide substitution mutation, causing a change in the translated protein's amino acid at 506th position from Arginine to Glutamine. No amplification required, genomic detection reagents*. Requires an instrument that can detect fluorescence of FAM and Redmond Red dyes such as a Tecan® GENios®, GENios® FL or Infinite® fluorometer.
