The MTHFR 1298 reagents* detect a polymorphism at the 1298 position of the gene that causes an Adenine to Cytosine substitution. No amplification required, genomic detection reagents*. Requires an instrument that can detect fluorescence of FAM and Redmond Red dyes such as a Tecan^® GENios^®, GENios^® FL or Infinite^® fluorometer.
