How the Invader® chemistry works
The Invader® chemistry is inherently flexible. In the field of molecular diagnostics, there are countless detection systems which can make choosing a platform difficult. This chemistry was designed to make this decision simpler—Invader® products are easily configured to suit any user’s requirements. For example, reaction conditions for a user will be identical; all samples can be treated, tested, and analyzed exactly alike, whether the sample number is 15 or 15,000. Tests can be performed manually or, for high-throughput applications, on an automated system. Many different disease targets (different mutations or sequences of interest) can be detected in a single run, on a single plate. The Invader® chemistry allows laboratories to retrieve more information in less time, with fewer reagents, at an overall lower cost.
