Verify LiveKit Configuration
1. Check the Configuration Generated by the Installation Script
cd /opt/twt-link-server/livekit
sudo test -s config.yaml && echo "LiveKit configuration file generated"
sudo stat -c '%a %U:%G %n' config.yaml
The configuration generated by the installation script should contain the following key settings. The placeholders in the example should already have been replaced with values entered by the user or generated by the script:
port: 7880
rtc:
port_range_start: 50000
port_range_end: 60000
tcp_port: 7881
use_external_ip: true
# Keep this disabled when no dedicated certificate or TURN service is configured to prevent startup failures caused by invalid certificate paths.
turn:
enabled: false
keys:
<AccessKeyID>: <AccessKeySecret>
logging:
level: info
json: false
sample: false
development: false
webhook:
# This key must exist in keys above. LiveKit uses it to sign Webhooks.
api_key: <AccessKeyID>
urls:
The configuration must meet all of the following requirements:
1.
keys must exactly match the AccessKeyID/AccessKeySecret entered in the Link operations console.2.
webhook.api_key must match an existing Key in keys.3.
webhook.urls must be a Gateway address reachable from the LiveKit server.4.
config.yaml contains sensitive credentials. Keep the file permission set to 0600 and never commit it to a code repository or send it in group chats.5. Keep
turn.enabled: false when TURN/TLS is not deployed. Do not specify certificate paths that do not exist.6.
development must be set to false. Never use development-mode credentials in production.A standard installation does not require manually creating or editing config.yaml. If the domain, credentials, or Webhook address was entered incorrectly, rerun the installation script and provide the correct values when prompted to avoid missing related fields during manual edits.
